Edge of Autumn

A Boerne Visual Artists Members Exhibition

 

This special members-only exhibition showcases the many ways artists interpret the beauty, warmth, and quiet transformation of autumn.  Whether your inspiration comes from golden landscapes, rich harvest colors, changing wildlife, or simply the feeling of the season, we encourage you to bring your own creative vision to this exhibition.

Best of all, every member who enters will be accepted!

The Prospectus

Location: Patrick Heath Public Library Display Gallery

Exhibition Dates: November 2–30

Entry Fee: None! Participation is one of the many benefits of your BVA membership.

Please register only if you are committed to participating, as gallery space is planned based on registrations.

 

Theme

All artwork should reflect the spirit or atmosphere of Edge of Autumn. We welcome a wide range of artistic interpretations while maintaining the overall seasonal theme of the exhibition.

Artwork Guidelines

Each current BVA member may enter one piece.

2D Artwork

Maximum framed size: 16" × 20" (outside dimensions)

Artwork must be wired and ready to hang.

All artwork should be framed, with the exception of gallery-wrapped canvases or thick cradled panels.

3D Artwork

Small pottery, jewelry, sculpture, and other tabletop works will be displayed in two locked glass display cases.

To help us promote the exhibition, please submit a high-quality photograph of your artwork after it is completed.

Selling Your Artwork

Artwork may be offered for sale.

Display labels will be completed during artwork drop-off and should include:

Should your artwork sell, the transaction will take place directly between you and the buyer. Artists are responsible for collecting payment and remitting any applicable Texas sales tax. Neither Boerne Visual Artists nor the Patrick Heath Public Library will process or assist with sales.

To ensure visitors enjoy the complete exhibition, all artwork must remain on display through November 30.

Artwork Drop-Off

Sunday, November 2
9:00–10:00 a.m.

Please bring your artwork to the Patrick Heath Public Library during the scheduled drop-off time.

Our experienced BVA hanging team will install the exhibition. Because the gallery space is limited, we ask that artists simply check in their artwork and allow the installation team to do the hanging. This helps us create a beautiful, cohesive exhibition for everyone.

Artwork Pick-Up

Sunday, November 30
9:30–10:30 a.m.

If you are unable to pick up your artwork during this time, please arrange for someone to do so on your behalf.

A Note About Liability

Every effort will be made to handle and display your artwork with the utmost care. The exhibition is located in a public area of the Patrick Heath Public Library that is visible from the library's front desk. However, artists exhibit their work at their own risk. Boerne Visual Artists and the Patrick Heath Public Library cannot assume responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to artwork while it is on display.
