Sharing Your Art Online:
A Simple Social Media
Strategy for Artists
Presented by Nat Alves
Social media can be a powerful way for artists to share their work, connect with collectors, and grow an audience — but it can also feel overwhelming or time-consuming.
In this presentation, branding and marketing strategist Nat Alves will walk through a simple, repeatable approach to social media that helps artists show up consistently without spending hours online. You’ll learn how to share your work in a way that feels natural, tell the story behind your art, and create a content routine that supports your creative practice.

Thursday, September 10
Nat Alves is a brand strategist, designer, and the founder of Nat Marie Design, where she helps service-based businesses, multi-location brands, and creative entrepreneurs grow through intentional design and strategic marketing.

Artful Journaling:
Releasing Your Creativity
Presented by Julie Jarvis
Journaling expands creativity by acting as both confidant and coach. It provides a safe space to explore uncertainty while offering structure, challenge, and direction. Through open-ended prompts and regular practice, journaling helps overcome self-doubt, shape ideas, and deepen creative awareness, making us more receptive to the creativity already within us.
In this presentation, Julie will explain that the journal does not make you creative. It makes you fully available to the creativity that was already trying to reach you.

Thursday, October 8
Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Julie discovered art early through museum classes and a childhood filled with creativity. She earned a BFA in printmaking from North Texas State University in 1975. Her career has included museum work, gallery ownership, and exhibiting nationally, while exploring printmaking, painting, encaustic, jewelry, drawing, and sculpture.
